Measure S Oversight Committee
In accordance with City Council Resolution No. 2024-29, the
City of Lemoore is establishing a Measure S Oversight Committee to
ensure transparency and accountability in the use of Measure S sales tax
revenues.
Purpose:
The Oversight Committee will review and report on the City’s use of Measure S
funds, confirming that expenditures align with voter-approved purposes. The
Committee serves as an advisory body and provides annual updates to the City
Council.
Eligibility Requirements:
Committee members must:
- Be
residents of the City of Lemoore
- Be 18
years of age or older
- Not be
current City employees or officials
- Possess
knowledge of municipal finance and/or be active in the community
Committee Details:
- The
Committee will meet at least twice annually, with additional meetings as
needed.
- All
meetings will be open to the public and posted in accordance with the
Brown Act.
- Initial
appointments will be made by the City Council, with staggered terms
aligned with Council elections.

Measure S at a Glance:

essential City services including public safety, infrastructure, and community
programs.
