Community Corrections Partnership

On March 25, 2019, the Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) Executive Committee unanimously approved funding of contracts for services with Kings County Municipal Police Agencies, the Kings County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office Investigative Unit under the Public Safety Realignment (AB 109) program.

Avenal, Corcoran, Hanford and Lemoore Police Department’s, as well as the Kings County Sheriff, and Kings County District Attorney Investigative Unit is committed to dedicating personnel for a 3 year period to work as a Task Force in collaboration with the Sheriff’s Office, Probation Department, District Attorney’s Office, Behavioral Health and other stakeholders, utilizing evidence based practices to meet and exceed recidivism goals. 

The mission and scope of the multi-purpose Task Force is to improve the quality of life in our communities by reducing crimes committed by the Post Release Community Supervision population.
